Symon Jagersma

Symon is a Business Development Community Navigator who is helping build the Business DNA worldwide community. He is also Business DNA’s country manager for the Netherlands, a fast moving country in Financial Planning. He is recognized to be a Financial Life Planning thought leader and loves to build the profession through co-creation.

Symon has been involved in financial services over 20 years. He has been teaching at the Amsterdam Academy for Banking and Finance on financial behavior and has been a business manager at the Dutch college for financial planning ElsevierBaard, a Reed Business Information company. Symon has been involved in several internet developments and e-learning projects on financial planning.

Being a mathematician through his Bachelor’s Degree, Symon’s interest always has been the integral perspective on financial decision making. Financial DNA’s approach of “Understanding People before numbers” directly resonated with him when he met Hugh Massie in 2005.

Symon is a member of several (international) communities. He is currently consulting with the Dutch regulator Authority Financial Markets AFM and an active member of the Financial Planning Association FPA.

Being a Community Builder Profile with high abstract talents, Symon loves to build knowledge management communities on Financial Planning to the “Care Why” level. Exploring Business DNA’s best practices and building programs around these insights together with advisors is his passion. Symon’s activities include training, coaching, programming retreats, conferences and research projects.
